At Trinity, we nurture the growth of each student's relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Youth Ministry

Trinity Youth Ministry is rooted in God's love in Christ for all people and Christ's commission that we go into all the world to baptize, teach and commission people for ministry in daily life. By encouraging a congregational culture of youth ministry that permeates our life together, we aspire to grow and send young people into a life-long relationship with God, God's church and all people.

Our Mission Statement

Together in Christ, we:
* Grow in Faith
* Serve in Love
* Lead in Peace
* Live in God's Promise

Confirmation at Trinity

Youth Ministry at Trinity begins with seventh grade. 7th and 8th graders participate in Club 78, a small-group program on Wednesday evenings, and Sunday AM Teen Study, a drop-in Sunday School program especially for youth.

9th graders participate in Club 9 , a one-on-one mentoring program on Wednesday nights. In the fall of the sophomore year we celebrate the affirmation of baptism with a banquet and a worship service before the congregation.

These grade-level references are guidelines only: Youth can begin the confirmation process any school year after 6th grade, and there is no deadline by which they must finish. Contact the Youth Ministry Team if you have questions about the program or pace.

High School Youth at Trinity

Trinity offers a variety of opportunities for high school youth throughout the year. See below for opportunities in the areas of music, summer road trips, and youth gatherings. Trinity is also looking for high school counselors to assist with summer day camps.

Youth Music Opportunities

Trinity welcomes youth participation in the life of the congregation. One of the easiest ways to get involved is through music.

The "Youth Praise Band" is for High School-aged youths and performs in Sunday morning worship once a month during the school year. High School praise band will meet on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:45. We will meet in the youth room and then have practice in the Trinity Room.

Luther Park

Pastor Jim will be taking a group to Luther Park the week of June 15-20. We will be attending the “Power of Faith” camp for youth who have completed grades 6-8. Blend the active fun of camp—canoeing, water skiing, swimming, volleyball and more—with the quieter things—prayer, Bible study and awesome worship experiences to make this a week you’ll never forget! The cost is $325. For more info, you can visit their website at www.lutherpark.org.

Because Trinity values this camp experience for every child, each registrant will be reimbursed $55 of the camp cost following their week at Bible camp as a gift from Trinity. Please note that additional scholarship funds may be available by contacting a member of the youth ministry team.

Summer Road Trip!

This summer Trinity’s High School Youth will have the opportunity to go on a summer trip with Jami to LiFest in Oshkosh, WI. The dates for the trip are Thursday, July 10th - Sunday, July 13th. We will be camping out for the first part of the trip on the LiFest grounds and crashing at English Lutheran of Oshkosh for the last night. On Saturday, we will be partnering with English Lutheran to do a day of service in the Oshkosh community. Approximate cost of the trip is $200. The trip is sure to be a blast filled with great music, chasing celebs, fun in the sun, service and hanging out with friends. Don’t miss it!
