Lent: "Psalms: God’s Positioning System"

Come and worship Wednesdays at 12:15 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. and gain guidance in this season of Lent. Our Wednesday message series is “Psalms as God’s Positioning System." The Psalms provide insight into the experiences of life and how God is at work in them. Each Wednesday we’ll bring an aspect of life to you from which God is able to provide direction:

  • March 10 Psalm 100 and the experience of JOY
  • March 17 Psalm 130 and the experience of WORRY
  • March 17 Psalm 130 and the experience of WORRY
  • March 24 Psalm 46 and the experience of COURAGE

Each 12:15 Wednesday worship service is followed by a soup and bread lunch in the Trinity Room. These delicious lunches are fundraisers for Trinity Youth going on the summer mission trip and other events. A contribution toward the lunch will assist them in fine ways.

Tangled Blue - Sunday April 11

Husband and wife, Aimee (vocals, percussion) and Joel (vocals, guitar), began giving concerts as Tangled Blue in 2001.  In 2003, Tangled Blue’s first recording was undertaken at a farm house in Menomonie, WI.  The duo’s folk-rock blend of songs has traveled with them over 333,000 miles of U.S. highways and been performed at churches, colleges and festivals.  In 2007 Tangled Blue left on an extended tour that included Texas, Hawaii, Florida, the Dakotas, and “everywhere in between.” With a new residence in Minneapolis, MN, Tangled Blue completed a recording, based on the season of Advent, in November, 2008. Tangled Blue incorporates Latin and electronic percussion, as well as acoustic and electric guitars. Tangled Blue will present music on Sunday, April 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd., Eau Claire, at the 8:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Services. The community is invited.

When You Desire Baptism

Baptism is the sacrament of the Lutheran Church in which we are adopted into the family of God and begin a promising new life in Christ. We celebrate Baptisms of children, youth and adults throughout the year.

If you desire to be baptized or wish to present a child for baptism, please consider the following upcoming Sundays: March 14 and 28, and April 11. When you have chosen a date or would like more information, please email or call one of the pastors to begin the arrangements for baptism.
