How does our faith move us? Lutherans believe that our faith is the door through which we enter the room of God's grace. It is an unearned gift that brings us closer to God.
Joining a church is an act of faith. Just as faith calls us to share the gospel, help the needy and teach our children, faith calls us to worship. At Trinity Lutheran Church we want to affirm this important step you take and welcome you with all of our heart.
New members are invited to join Trinity in two steps:
- Attend two evenings of Discovering Trinity, a workshop for new members, at which you will meet the staff and clergy of Trinity, learn about our faith and history, and make friends with other families also joining.
- Attend the New Member Sunday Celebration, at which you are welcomed to the family of Trinity Lutheran Church.
This series is offered twice a year; typically in the fall and early spring.
Join us on Tuesday, October 21 for a welcome dinner! Kids are included and this fun, informative evening includes child-care and introductions to Trinity, our ministries, pastors and staff. Then we’ll gather again for some additional teaching time together on Tuesday evening, October 28. On Sunday, November 9 we’ll formally welcome all newcomers to Trinity at the 8:15 and 9:30 A.M. worship services.
