The Faith 5 Experience for Families
Most parents want to pass on a solid faith to their children and set themselves up for a close relationship with them into their adolescence and beyond. Many of us, however, are never given concrete steps as to “how.” This fall, Pastor Sarah wants to introduce one tool that she's discovered, which may help with this—and it's something families are probably doing already, in some form—a simple bedtime routine.
The “tool” is called Faith 5, and it forms faith, creates children who are communicators and know empathy, and can grow you closer as a family. Since it takes at least 30 some days to form a habit, Pastor Sarah is inviting Trinity families to give Faith 5 a test run together this fall!
Will your family join her in this “holy experiment?”
• Sunday, September 24, from 11:00 A.M.–12:30 P.M.• Potluck One • The group will gather for an old fashioned potluck and learn the basics of Faith 5 together.
• Monday, October 9, from 5:30–7:00 P.M. • Pizza Night • Learn the next steps of Faith 5 and debrief with one another on how the experiment is going so far.
• Sunday October 29, from 11:00 A.M.–12:30 P.M. • Potluck Two • We'll come together one more time to process and celebrate what this “holy experiment” has meant to our families.
Childcare will be provided! The cost is $10 per family to cover the pizza night.

Christmas Sharing Project
Every year, Trinity comes together to help families in need in our community through the Christmas Sharing Project. 25+ area families receive food, outdoor clothing, gifts for kids, and other
household items to make their Christmas a little bit brighter. Gift tags with specific information are available in early December or you may contact Sara Reed for more information. Help is needed for sorting and delivery on the weekend before Christmas.
Uff da Fest Church Picnic
The last day of Sunday School in May you are invited to a fun picnic event called Uff da Fest, with food, fun and games in the backyard of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Everyone is welcome!
