Additional Information

Mission of our Summer Children's Ministries Programs

  • To share the Good News of Jesus Christ with all children of Trinity, their families, and the community.

  • To engage children in programs that will help them discover how wonderfully God has created them.

  • To encourage children in Christian attitudes of respect, kindness, thoughtfulness, service, discernment, hope, forgiveness, peace, and love.

  • To have children consider their church as a great place to be, to meet friends, to help others have fun, and to form life-long connections.

  • To teach children what it means to be a disciple.

Children with Special Needs

We will work together with families to make accommodations for children with special needs. It is important to us that all children, regardless of their ability, have the opportunity to participate in Trinity’s Children’s Ministries programs.

Leaders

Teachers for the various camps include experienced educators from area school districts, Noah’s Ark Preschool staff, and adults from Trinity Congregation who have worked in Children’s Ministries. They are all dedicated to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with our children.

Counselors & Volunteers

The counselors are college and high school age students who offer their time, talents, energy, and wonderful enthusiasm. Middle school students (completing grades 6, 7, or 8) can apply to work in the Day Camps as youth volunteers.

VBS Coordinating Team

This year’s Coordinating and Planning Team is a team of people working hard to make VBS week fun and exciting. The team includes educators, parents and grandparents, Children’s Ministries volunteers, and members of Trinity.

All programs, camps, and events are open to the community.
