All programs, camps, and events are open to the community.

Summer Camps

Hundreds of children will participate in the fun activities of the various camps this summer and learn of God's enormous love for them.

Camp Discovery

Dates: June 11-15, 2012
Time: 9:00 - 12:00 a.m.
Cost: $65
For: Children who were 3 by 9.1.11 through those who have completed grade 5.
Description: Children will be challenged to discover the magic and beauty of God's world by investigating science and nature through experiments, projects, artwork, and a field trip.

Trinity Sports Camp

Dates: June 18-20, 2012
Time: 9:00 - 12:00 a.m.
Cost: $40.
Location: Northstar Middle School
For: Children who were 3 by 9.1.11 through those who have completed grade 4.
Description: The camp will offer skills instruction in various physical activities. Leaders will focus on teamwork, fair play and Christian values.

Camp Come and Play

Dates: June 25-28, 2012
Session 1: 9:15 - 11:15 A.M. Closed
Session 2: 12:15 - 2:15 A.M.
Cost: $50
For: Children whose birth dates are between 9.1.08 and 8.31.09.
Location: Trinity Nursery and Art Room
Description: Children will have an opportunity to play with other children of their age. They will hear Bible stories, participate in related activities and take time out to share a treat. This camp is limited to 12 children in each session.

Camp Cooking & Booking Closed

Dates: June 25-29, 2012
Time: 9:00 - 12:00 a.m.
Cost: $65
For: Children who were 3 by 9.1.11 through those who have completed grade 5.
Description: Kids will experience adventures in cooking, crafting, and playing while leaders share related stories from the Bible and children’s literature. God’s amazing story will come alive in meaningful ways!

Camp Tell the Good News Closed

Dates: July 9-12, 2012
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $55
For: Kids who have completed grades 4 and up.
Description: The goal of the camp is to create the opening video segments for Vacation Bible School week. Participants will learn journalism skills through interviewing, writing, and shooting and editing the film.

Camp Veggie Tales

Dates: July 9-13, 2012
Time: 9:00 - 12:00 a.m.
Cost: $65
For: Children who were 3 by 9.1.11 through those who have completed grade 5.
Description: Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber and all their Veggie friends are back for another summer appearance at Trinity’s day camps. Sessions will include Bible lessons, skits, Veggie Tale videos, crafts, games, food and more!

Vacation Bible School

"Kids in God's Word"

Join us this summer to explore how KIDS play an important role in spreading God’s Word! Baby Moses, David, and a boy with a basket of fish and bread will tell us how to “listen,” “protect,” and “share,” the Good News!

Dates: July 23-27, 2012
Time: 8:45 - 12:00 a.m.
Cost: No cost, suggested $20 donation per child
For: For children who were 3 by 9.1.11 through those who have completed grade 6.

Day Camp Ministry for Young Children

The mission of Trinity's Day Camp ministry is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and to engage children to discover how wonderfully God has created them through organized play, music, storytelling and art.

Camp Come & Play - Completed

For: Children with birthdays between 8-1-2008 and 8-31-2009 (limited to 12 children in each session)
Time: Session One 9:15-11:15 A.M.; Session Two 12:15-2:15 P.M.
Dates: On Wednesdays starting January 4, 2012 for 19 class periods.
Cost: $247 - includes cost of supplies and snacks.
Location: Trinity's Nursery & Art Room

Thrilling Thursdays - Completed

Spend Thursday mornings or afternoons engaged in a wide variety of preschool activities. Children will cook, read, paint, experiment, sing and dance. The class will allow children to explore and discover in the areas of language, science, music, math and art. A hands on discovery approach will be emphasized in a Christian learning environment.
For: Children who are 4 by 12/31/11 - limited to 8 students per group.
Time: Session One: 9:00-11:00 A.M.; Session Two: 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.
Thursdays beginning January 12, 2012 for 18 class periods.
Cost: $230 - includes cost of supplies and snacks. Fees may be paid in installments.

The Great Pretenders - Completed

Come & join the fun. Dynamic drama and awesome art will be combined to enhance children's literature and Bible stories. After creating props and costumes, children will use them to act out the stories. Theater games, creative movement, story structures and creative artistry will be explored in this high energy class.
For: Children who are 4 by 12/31/11.
Time: 1:00-3:00 P.M. on Tuesdays beginning January 10, 2012 for 17 class periods.
Cost: $218 - includes cost of supplies and snacks. Fees may be paid in installments.

Music & Movement Mondays - Completed

Move and groove to the music with both new and old songs. We will explore music with song, dance, and instruments - a wonderful bonding experience for you and your child. New theme each week and Bible stories conclude each class. Parent or caregiver must attend class with child.
For: Children ages 1-3
Time: Session 1: 9:15-10:00 A.M.
Begins January 9, 2012 for 16 class periods.
Cost: $103 includes cost of supplies/equipment

Friday Friends - Completed

For: Children who are 3 by 12/31/11.
Time: 9:00-11:15 A.M.
Dates: On Fridays beginning January 6, 2012 for 18 class periods.
Cost: $240 - includes cost of supplies and snacks. ($120 deposit due at the time of registration - the remaining $120 due in December.)
Location: Trinity's Nursery, Library & Art Room

Open Gym Tuesdays - Completed for the season.

Every Tuesday our gym (the Trinity Room) is be open for parents and their young children (toddlers-preschool) to come in and use our equipment in a large safe space. Marlee Knickerbocker supervises the area and offers a story time and snack during the last half hour. There is a $3 charge for each child at each session; $5 for 2 children from the same family and $7 for three. No registration is required. Members, friends of members and non members are welcome to attend.

Special Events

Bible Sunday

Bibles are available for all children ages 3 through grade 6. Presentation of the Spark Bibles to three year olds and third graders will be at the 9:45 a.m. service in Setpember, 2012.

Three-year-olds receive the Spark Story Bible and third graders receive the Spark Bible, NRSV.

Communion Instruction

The Lord's Supper is celebrated regularly in worship, and we invite children to participate. Trinity offers a learning event for first grade children and their parents in the Spring of each year. In the Fall we offer the same instruction to children in Grades 2 through 5 who may have missed the instruction at an earlier time. Parents who wish to have their children communing before this event are welcome to include them.

Tie Dye Saturday

Date: October, 2012
Time: Beginning at 10:00 A.M.
Description: This day is for anyone who likes to tie dye or would like to learn. Bring your own items to dye - i.e., white t-shirts, socks, shirts, etc. If it is a new item, wash it at home before you come. Dye, rubber-bands, soaking agent will be furnished.

Advent Workshop

A fun craft event for the whole family! Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 2:00-5:00 in the Trinity Room.

Angel Breakfast

Breakfast with a Christmas Angel. For kids preschool through kindergarten. Each child may bring one adult guest. Join us on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 8:30-10:00 AM. Advanced registration is required for this event!
