2009 Mission to Jamaica
Our mission with Maranatha Church in Kingston, Jamaica is a rich and life-changing mission as we seek to “Serve in Christ’s Love and Share the Good News.” Plans are underway to debut the ’09 trip in September 2008 at an informational meeting to be held Sunday, September 21, 10:30 A.M. in Room 509.
Initial plans for the trip include departure from Eau Claire on Friday, March 13 for one week. The team in Kingston will work with Maranatha Church in building and teaching. We believe that God is also presenting a new dimension to this vital global mission of Trinity. So, we are exploring adding a second mission team in the Negril area to work with Pastor Dino Nicholas and his mission church.
This mission trip is open to adults and children 12 and older accompanied by a parent. Men with building skills are especially needed in this mission. Selection of the teams will correlate with the skills needed to accomplish the projects and distribution of labor between the two sites.
